Landed Estates
"Sources agree that this team offers London-quality service at a regional price. Along with value for money the other major draws for clients are the group's 'substantial skill set' and its ability to 'resolve matters incredibly quickly and in an extremely efficient manner.' The team handles everything from from tax planning and estate administration to contentious trusts and probate."
Chambers UK 2009
There are very few firms with a genuine understanding of the specialist needs of landed estates and their owners. Whether you are considering buying your first estate, or have an estate that has been in your family for generations, we can help.
Wilsons landed estates team takes a holistic approach to looking after wealthy individuals, considering all aspects of wealth preservation. This includes strategic advice; advising on management structures and tax issues; advising on day to day management of estates (which incorporates a range of commercial legal services); and advice to you as an individual, including personal tax, planning for succession and preservation of assets on divorce.
Our clients receive advice on matters such as:

- Wealth preservation – including tax efficient investment structures
- Property development – with specialist skills in the sale of development land
- Ownership and management structures for estates
- Heritage property and chattels – advising on conditional exemption and maintenance funds
- Charitable status – moving estates into charitable ownership and creating charitable endowment funds
