Judith is a consultant in our Commercial Property team and has worked on commercial property transactions for over 30 years (all spent at Wilsons). There is not much in the property world she has not seen! Judith qualified as a solicitor with Wilsons in 1978, became a partner in 1982 and is a former member of Wilsons’ management board. She now deals primarily with care home and other large charity developments together with more general commercial development transactions.
Recent highlights
- Acting for the operator on a contract for the construction of a 60 bed care home to be leased, once built to the operator's specification, for 35 years;
- Sale by a charity of long leases of major historic buildings for several million pounds, conditional on persuading a large house builder to change the terms of one of the leases. This was achieved and the transaction was completed;
- Several transactions involving leases of floorspace in prestigious city buildings at significant rents.
