Joyce Salkeld

Joyce is a highly experienced solicitor, with more than 30 post qualification years specialising in all aspects of Trust Administration, with a special interest in trust and estate taxes, particularly inheritance tax and capital gains tax.  She manages a portfolio of trusts with a wide variety of assets, including charitable trusts, and she also advises on the setting up and winding up of trusts.

She provides advice on all aspects of trust law and compliance issues including FATCA, CRS and the HMRC trust register.  She prepares tax returns for individual clients as well as estates and trusts, she prepares wills and advises about estate planning, capacity issues and Court of Protection matters. 

Joyce has a degree in Law with French from the University of Birmingham, she trained and qualified with Wright Hassall in 1984 before moving south to Wiltshire.  She joined Wilsons in 2006, having worked previously for Pye-Smiths in Salisbury for many years. She is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP). In addition she holds a STEP advanced certificate in International Succession and Probate, gaining the highest overall marks in her intake. 

In her spare time Joyce enjoys reading, listening to classical music and walking in the beautiful Wiltshire countryside.
