Wilsons is a specialist law firm, focussing on wealthy individuals and their legal needs. We have established a pre-eminent reputation in the areas of tax, trusts and landed estates. More recently we have established a strong reputation in agriculture, property, charities, employment and family law. We also have high calibre commercial and litigation teams who also offer a bespoke service to our clients as the need arises.

We have been based in the South West since our foundation 275 years ago. Today, many of our lawyers come from London firms and a lot of the work we do for clients continues to be London based. We are happy to visit our clients throughout the UK or abroad. Understanding our clients' business and concerns is a crucial part of delivering a first-class service.

Our clients expect quality, both in the advice given and the service received. We are committed to providing a quality service and have attained quality assurance standards, Lexcel and Investors in People. Both of these accreditations are audited by external bodies and can be withdrawn if our standards are not up to scratch.

Fee rates

We compete favourably with London firms offering similar services because our overheads are lower. We do have a transparent charging structure, and you will be kept informed of fees as your instruction progresses.
