Particular areas of expertise include Will disputes, Inheritance Act claims, undue influence, fraud, equitable claims including proprietary estoppel and claims by or against executors, trustees and solicitors.

Chambers Guide to the UK Legal Profession - 2008 lists Peter as a leading individual in his field. "Peter was praised by his clients for his innovative thinking and practical ideas." He is also listed as a charities expert in the Top 3000 Charities 2005-2006 directory.

Peter qualified in 1991 at Masons. He joined Henmans in Oxford in 1994 where he was head of the contentious probate litigation team. He joined Wilsons as a partner in 2004. He is a member of the Association for Contentious Trusts and Probate Specialists (ACTAPS) and the Charity Law Association. He is a regular lecturer to clients and the legal profession on contentious trust and probate and charity related issues.
