Peter Jeffreys is a partner in our Charities team. He specialises in charity law, focussing on legacy administration and the resolution of problem estates for charities. He also acts for charities in Court of Protection cases. Peter has a special interest in dealing with cases of probate fraud for charities.
Chambers UK - 2008 now lists Peter as a national leader in his field in their Best of the UK section for charity law, and as a leader in the South West. He is also listed as a Charities expert in the Top 3,000 Charities 2005/2006.
Peter qualified in 1991, and joined Wilsons as a Partner from his previous firm Henmans in 2004. He is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and the Charity Law Association. He is a regular lecturer on charity-related issues and delivers courses on Wills, probate and charity law for legal and other professionals.
