Peter Bourke MRICS - partner
Peter specialises in property litigation covering rights of way, boundary disputes and landlord and tenant matters relating to commercial, residential and agricultural property. He is particularly experienced in rent reviews and service charge and dilapidation claims as well as lease renewals and the interpretation of covenants.
A large part of Peter’s practice is in respect of agricultural disputes including security of tenure, succession and milk quota. He deals with matters in court, by arbitration and at the Agricultural Land Tribunal and he always takes a pragmatic approach to resolve claims.
Peter was educated at Cirencester Agricultural College and Bristol University. He qualified as a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors in 1992 in the Rural Faculty. As a qualified Chartered Surveyor, Peter has a detailed understanding of the problems facing both landlords and tenants. He was admitted as a solicitor in September 1997. He is a member of the Agricultural Law Association and a regular speaker at seminars.
Peter trained and worked at Lipkin Gorman in London before joining Wilsons in 1998.
