Mike Parker - partner
Mike is the head of our litigation & dispute resolution team. He specialises in commercial litigation and dispute resolution covering a wide range of tortious, contractual and breach of trust claims with an emphasis on property and probate disputes.
Mike has particular experience in landlord and tenant disputes in respect of agricultural land (especially rent review arbitrations and succession applications) and claims concerning title, boundaries, rights of way and nuisance. He also deals with professional negligence actions against property professionals (solicitors and surveyors).
He has specialist skills in the field of contentious probate and trust litigation acting for both trustees/executors and beneficiaries. His practice also covers high value company/commercial disputes, including breach of contract, share sales and injunctions. He is experienced in mediation and other forms of alternative dispute resolution.
Mike was educated at New College, Oxford where he studied Modern Languages. He then trained at Withers in London before moving first to Lamport Bassit in Southampton and then to Clarke Willmott in Yeovil and Taunton. Mike joined Wilsons in 2001.
He is a member of the Agricultural Law Association and The Property Litigation Association. He is a student member of the Association of Trust and Probate Specialists (ACTAPS) and is a regular speaker at seminars.
