Kate Marsh - solicitor
Kate is a Solicitor in our Probate and Trust Department. Kate specialises in estate
and trust administration including probate work (this includes charity related matters), the preparation of Wills, and tax planning. Kate is also a member of the ‘Mental Capacity Team’ and advises clients on the preparation of General and Lasting Powers of Attorney, the registration of Enduring and Lasting Powers of Attorney with the Office of the Public Guardian, dealing with deputyship applications and advising generally on Court of Protection and mental capacity matters.
Kate trained in Somerset with Milford & Dormor and qualified in 2003. In 2005 she joined the west country firm, Everys, where she developed her specialism in Wills, Probate and elderly client work. Kate moved to Wilsons in September 2008.
Kate is a member of STEP (Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners) and Solicitors for the Elderly.
In her spare time, Kate enjoys running (having recently completed the Great North Run), reading, music and the cinema.
