Karin Parfitt - associate
Karin comes from a commercial litigation background and is experienced in all types of property claims, partnership disputes and professional negligence. The particular focus of her practice is on probate and trust disputes, Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975 claims, as well as Court of Protection advice. She is committed to resolving disputes wherever possible by mediation or other forms of alternative dispute resolution.
Karin was educated at King's College, London and was admitted as a solicitor in March 1993. Her training was undertaken in the City and thereafter she worked at Underwood & Co. She was an associate at Clarkson Wright & Jakes in Kent before moving to Wilsons in September 2007.
She is an Associate Member of the Association of Contentious Trust and Probate Specialists (ACTAPS), the Law Society's Probate Section, the Charity Law Association and the Association of Partnership Practitioners (APP).
