Judith Beddow - partner
Judith is a partner in our property department. She is head of our commercial property team and specialises in development work including options, conditional contracts, and planning agreements. She also deals with a significant amount of landlord and tenant work for business occupiers and investor landlords.
Judith’s range of work has recently included the sale of a town centre bus station, an option for a greenfield development site, five separate leases of floors in a City building and the property work for a substantial MBO. She is also now carrying out a significant amount of work in conjunction with our charities department involving property work for schools (including complete refinancing) and community buildings using grant money. She is used to dealing with situations that require an entirely customised approach.
Ranked as a leader in her field by Chambers Guide to the UK Legal Profession - 2008, Judith is "pragmatic, quick to respond and extremely experienced."
Judith qualified as a solicitor with Wilsons in 1978 and became a partner in 1982.
