Belinda Watson - partner
Belinda Watson is a partner in the Farms and Estates team of our Private Client department. She specialises in trust, tax and general advice to the owners of landed Estates and large farms. The main areas of work are advising on tax efficient succession, heritage property, maintenance funds and exempt chattels. Belinda represents clients from a wide geographical area from the south of England to Yorkshire and North Wales.
Belinda trained in London and spent her first ten years as a qualified solicitor at Frere Cholmeley Bischoff, now Forsters. After a career break of ten years following a family move to Dorset and to bring up her two daughters, Belinda has been with Wilsons since May 2007.
During her career break Belinda was able to take an active part in organising country sports throughout Dorset. Her other interests include horse riding, sailing, skiing and opera.
Belinda is also a member of STEP (the Society of Trust and Estates Practitioners).
