Wilsons adopts a pro-active and positive approach to conducting its business in a manner which demonstrates a high degree of social responsibility while achieving sustainable growth for the business.
As a business we recognise the impact we have on the world around us, and aim to:

• Provide a positive, fulfilling and rewarding environment for our people
• Deal primarily with local suppliers and only those who have the same approach to CSR as we do
• Be a part of the local community and give something back
• Be aware of our impact on the environment and minimise the effects
This policy outlines what we are currently doing:
Our People
• We have the Investors in People accreditation
• We offer flexible working and a high number of staff work part-time or work from home
• We have introduced family friendly policies where possible
• We provide financial support to encourage people to develop their skills
• We have a social committee and hold a variety of social events for staff throughout the year
Our Clients
• We are Lexcel accredited
• We carry out regular reviews with our clients to obtain their feedback on the way we do business and how we can improve
• We have a dedicated Risk and Compliance director who monitors the quality of the service we provide to clients and deals speedily with any complaints
Our Suppliers
• We treat our suppliers fairly and ethically
• We aim to use as many local suppliers as possible
• We expect our suppliers to adhere to the basic principles of CSR and have their own policy in place
